At Entero, we are passionate about giving back to our community. We are active supporters of different charitable organizations, and regularly volunteer our time, talents, and technology to benefit great causes. Below are a few examples of our contributions:
Calgary Corporate Challenge – 2011 marked Entero’s 10th year participating in the CCC. At this annual event, Entero employees take part in both the Big Bike Ride - supporting the Heart & Stroke Foundation and also Kidsport Adopt-An-Athlete program.
Canadian Blood Services – Entero has been a Partner for Life corporate member since 2002. During this time, employees, families, and friends have donated over 809 units of whole blood, plasma, or platelets. This means we have potentially impacted 2427 individuals.
Canadian Cancer Society - Every year through employee and company donations, Entero raises more than $2,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society.
Engineers Without Borders (EWB) - Since 2011, Entero has been a proud sponsor of EWB. Founded in 2000, EWB was created to combat global inequality through the engineering profession. All proceeds go towards building water, sanitation, and agricultural infrastrucutres for poverty stricken areas withing Africa.
Movember – Our very own Team Itchy & Scratchy have been sporting ‘staches since 2010. Last year, the team consisted of eight Entero employees who raised $4,065 to support the fight against prostate cancer.
SAIT Polytechnic - Entero is a strong supporter of education and donates Mosaic licenses to SAIT’s Petroleum Engineering curriculum. We have also established a student scholarship in reservoir engineering for the Bachelor of Applied Technology Petroleum Engineering (BAPT) at SAIT's MacPhail School of Energy. Learn more.
United Way – Since 2008, Entero has participated in various United Way initiatives, such as donating computers to the Hull Organization, volunteering at the Calgary Drop-In Center, and raising more than $15,000 in 2011 through different fun and exciting corporate activities.
