Entero Continues to Make a Difference through Volunteer Efforts
CALGARY, Alberta, February 21, 2013 – Entero is proud to support a number of great charitable organizations. On February 17th, Entero successfully brought together 50 employees and their families to volunteer at the Feed the Hungry Dinner Program. Since 1993, this program has been providing a 3-course Sunday dinner to approximately 500 homeless or underprivileged individuals within the Calgary community. In addition to Feed the Hungry, Entero has been highly involved with the Calgary Food Bank and YYC Tech Gives, which is a coalition of technology companies that are dedicated to supporting great causes. Together with members from Arcurve, Visage, and other tech firms, Entero’s employees packaged food and raised over $7,000 to support this emergency food distribution hub. Feed the Hungry has been providing a sit down meal, served to our guests by volunteers, on Sunday nights since 1993. For the poor, Sunday can seem to be just another day of trying to find food, shelter and a sense of belonging. Thanks to gifts of time, talent and treasure from our sponsors, we can ensure that homeless and underprivileged individuals experience a different Sunday dinner.
